A Better Way Funerals is Australian owned and not part of a corporate funeral group. Most of its work is direct cremation, and it collects 24 hours a day. From Balgowlah it covers the Northern Beaches, North Shore, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, the CBD, Greater Western Sydney, the Sutherland Shire and the Hills.
With a direct cremation there is no service at the crematorium. Some families who choose one hold a memorial afterwards, at home, at a club or by the water on the Northern Beaches. We stream those gatherings the same way as a funeral, and the family keeps the recording.

Can A Better Way Funerals arrange a live stream?
Yes. Raise it when you make the arrangements at Balgowlah and the team will book us. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet. Anyone who cannot attend watches on a private link, and the family gets a recording afterwards.
Is there anything to film with a direct cremation?
The cremation itself has no mourners present, so there is nothing to film at that point. If the family holds a memorial or gathering later, we can stream it. Let A Better Way Funerals know the date and place, and we will bring the same setup we use for a full funeral.
