How to watch a funeral live stream
If the family has told you the funeral will be live streamed by Stream Catcher, you can watch from anywhere on a phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV. There is no app to install and no account to create. All you need is the link.
Find the service
The quickest way in is the link the family or funeral director sent you. If you do not have it, our list of services shows today's and upcoming services by name. Each name opens that person's page, which goes live when the service starts and keeps the recording afterwards.
If the name is not there, try our other list of services, or ask the family for the link.
On the day
Open the link ten minutes before the service begins. Service times are Sydney time, so check the difference if you are watching from interstate or overseas. If the picture stops, refresh the page. For a group watching together, open the link on a smart TV or cast it from your phone.
If you miss it
The recording goes up on the same link within a few hours of the service and stays available for up to twelve months, so you can watch it in your own time or pass it on to someone who could not be there.
