The parish goes back to 1861. Its original church still stands on Old Northern Road, heritage-listed and with a cemetery beside it. As the congregation grew, the parish built a larger church at Rogans Hill, next to Oakhill College. It has become one of the bigger Anglican congregations in the Hills.
