Picaluna Funerals works differently from a traditional funeral home. It owns no chapels, hearses or mortuaries and coordinates around 40 funeral directors in the Sydney area. We have filmed a fair few Picaluna services, some well away from the usual chapels.
About Picaluna Funerals
Picaluna runs as a network of independent funeral planners and celebrants. It covers Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, Newcastle, the South Coast and other parts of regional NSW. Besides chapel services, Picaluna arranges eco funerals, direct cremation, and services at outdoor and non-traditional venues.
A Picaluna service might be held in a park, a function room or on a family property. Many of those places have nothing set up for streaming, so we bring our own mobile internet. We go over the venue details with the family's Picaluna planner beforehand and send the recording after the day.

Can Picaluna Funerals arrange a live stream?
Yes. Ask your Picaluna planner to book Stream Catcher, or give us a call on our 24/7 line. As Picaluna has no fixed chapel, tell us the venue as soon as it is chosen. We handle the cameras and internet, and the family gets a private link and a recording.
Can you stream an outdoor Picaluna service?
Yes. Outdoor services take more planning, so send us the address and a rough idea of the layout early. We bring our own mobile internet and at least three cameras. Wind can spoil the sound, so we also like to know where people will stand and whether there will be a microphone.
