Funeral live streaming at Forest Lawn Memorial Park
Out at Leppington in south-west Sydney, Forest Lawn Memorial Park has had a crematorium since its main building was finished in 1968. InvoCare runs the park now, and we have filmed and streamed services in both of its chapels.
About Forest Lawn Memorial Park
Forest Lawn has handled more than 30,000 cremations and 11,500 burials since 1968. The North Chapel and South Chapel each seat about 100. The Diocese of Wollongong blessed the North Chapel in 2011 for Catholic services. After the service, families can use the tea room at Leppington, and there is a florist on the grounds as well.
Leppington is a long drive for relatives from the Central Coast or the eastern suburbs, and some older family members watch our stream rather than make the trip. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet to the North or South Chapel. The family receives the recording once the service is over.

We have recorded services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and know how the room works. We arrive early, set up before guests come in and stay out of the way while the service runs.

Questions families ask
Can a Catholic funeral at Forest Lawn be streamed?
Yes. The North Chapel at Forest Lawn was blessed by the Diocese of Wollongong in 2011 and is used for Catholic services. We film these at Leppington with at least three cameras, as we do for any other service. Relatives who cannot attend follow along live on a private link, and the family keeps the recording.
Forest Lawn offers webcasting. Can we still book Stream Catcher?
Yes. InvoCare offers webcasting in both chapels at Forest Lawn, and many families are happy with it. If you want at least three camera angles and a recording to keep, ask your funeral director to book us for the North or South Chapel. We run the stream on our own internet connection.
