Funeral live streaming at Macarthur Memorial Park

Macarthur Memorial Park is a new cemetery at Varroville, near Campbelltown, which opened in April 2025. Catholic Cemeteries and Crematoria runs it on Crown land under an agreement with the NSW Government, and we have filmed services in its Sanctuary building.

About Macarthur Memorial Park

Macarthur Memorial Park covers 113 hectares and is the first new Crown cemetery in New South Wales in 80 years. Services are held in the Sanctuary, which has three Reflection Halls named Peace, Harmony and Hope. Each hall can be used on its own, or they can be opened up together for a large funeral. There is also a cafe, Riri's, and a 250-seat function centre.

Parking at Varroville is on site, with about 184 spaces across the basement and ground level, including disability spaces. The park is on the south-western edge of Sydney, and some relatives will not make the drive. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet to the Reflection Halls, so those people can watch live on a private link.

Questions families ask

Can a funeral at Macarthur Memorial Park be live streamed?

Yes. We have filmed in the Sanctuary at Varroville. Your funeral director books Stream Catcher, and the family gets a private link to send to relatives before the day. The park only opened in 2025, so it is new to most families. We film with at least three cameras on our own internet, and the recording follows.

Can a service in the combined Reflection Halls be streamed?

Yes. When the Peace, Harmony and Hope halls at Macarthur Memorial Park are opened up together for a large funeral, we still film with at least three cameras and our own internet. Relatives at home see the service live on a private link, and the family gets the full recording once it is over.

Planning a service?

Tell us the date and the venue and we will take care of the rest with your funeral director.

Stream Catcher is an independent live streaming business and is not part of Macarthur Memorial Park. Some venues have their own rules about filming, and your funeral director can confirm them.
