About Kemps Creek Memorial Park
Kemps Creek is home to Sydney Natural Burial Park, the city's first eco-burial ground. The cemetery takes families of every denomination. The operator holds its indoor chapel services at Rookwood and Liverpool, so services at Kemps Creek itself use the Outdoor Pavilion, an open-air structure seating about 160.
Filming at the Outdoor Pavilion means working in the open on Western Road, so we bring everything with us, including our own mobile internet and at least three cameras. Relatives who cannot make it out there watch the service live on a private link, and the family keeps the recording.
