Funeral live streaming at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church
Cardinal Freeman opened Our Lady Queen of Peace at Greystanes in 1975, three years after the parish split from Wentworthville. We film funerals at the church and stream them for family who cannot get to Greystanes.
About Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church
Greystanes became its own parish in 1972, after being part of Wentworthville. The present church was opened by Cardinal Freeman in 1975. Our Lady Queen of Peace belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta and serves Greystanes and the newer suburbs around it.
On the second Saturday of each month the parish holds a memorial Mass, and families are invited to bring a photo of someone who has died. The funeral itself is a separate service, and that is the one we film. We stream it to a private link and send the family a recording.
