Funeral directors we work with
Live streaming for Ocean Funerals services
Hurstville's Ocean Funerals is a family-owned, independent funeral home with its own chapel on site. We stream services for its families around St George and further out, and the two teams work well together.
About Ocean Funerals
Ocean Funerals keeps its chapel and refrigeration at the Hurstville premises, so the business does most of the work at the one address. The team has more than three decades of combined experience. Families come from the St George district and the Sutherland Shire, and from as far as Penrith, Campbelltown and the Blue Mountains.
A service in the Hurstville chapel is easy for St George families to reach, and much harder for relatives in the Blue Mountains or overseas. We set up in the chapel, stream the service on a private link and give the family the recording. People who could not make the trip can still watch it live.

What your family receives
We work with Ocean Funerals regularly and get on well with their team. On the day we fit in around their staff and the running of the service.
- A private link for family and friends, sent before the day so everyone can check it works.
- At least three cameras, set up quietly before guests arrive.
- Our own mobile internet connections, so the stream does not depend on the venue wifi.
- A full recording of the service to download and keep.
Chapels and churches nearby

Questions families ask
Can Ocean Funerals arrange a live stream?
Yes. Ask Ocean Funerals when you make the arrangements and they will book us for the Hurstville chapel or any other venue. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet. Guests get a private link, and the family gets a recording.
Does a service in the Ocean Funerals chapel need anything extra for streaming?
No. We bring our own cameras and internet to the Hurstville chapel, so the family does not need to organise anything. We arrive before the service to set up and test the stream. If there is a slideshow or music, let the funeral director know so we can plan around it.

Tell us the date and the venue and we will take care of the rest with your funeral director.
