Funeral live streaming at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium

Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium sits in North Ryde and is run by Metropolitan Memorial Parks. It has five chapels and a crematorium on the one site, and we have filmed and streamed services in its chapels for families with relatives who could not attend.

About Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium

The five spaces at Macquarie Park are the Magnolia Chapel, which seats about 200, the Palm Chapel, the Camellia Chapel, the Lotus Pavilion for around 100 and the Rose Chapel for 35. The Palm Chapel has a full pipe organ. All chapels have hearing loops and level access, and there is a courtesy vehicle for guests who need a lift from the car.

Macquarie Park takes services of any faith, and the rooms range from the 35-seat Rose Chapel to the 200-seat Magnolia Chapel. We set up the same way in each, with at least three cameras and our own mobile internet. Relatives interstate or overseas watch live on a private link, and the family keeps the recording.

Questions families ask

Can a funeral at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium be live streamed?

Yes. Ask your funeral director to book Stream Catcher for the service at Macquarie Park. We have worked in the chapels at North Ryde before. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet, and the family gets a private viewing link to share before the day, then the recording afterwards.

Macquarie Park has its own webcasting. Why would a family book Stream Catcher?

Metropolitan Memorial Parks offers webcasting in every chapel at Macquarie Park, and plenty of families use it. Some want several camera angles on the service and a full recording of their own to keep. Those families ask their funeral director to book us, and we work alongside the chapel staff on the day.

Planning a service?

Tell us the date and the venue and we will take care of the rest with your funeral director.

Stream Catcher is an independent live streaming business and is not part of Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium. Some venues have their own rules about filming, and your funeral director can confirm them.
