About Rookwood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium
The Memorial Avenue site has four rooms for services. The South Chapel seats about 120, the East Chapel about 70, the West Chapel about 60 and the Columbarium Room about 50. For a bigger crowd, the South and East Chapels can extend their seating into the columbarium next door. All of them are air-conditioned and fitted with screens, and there are screens outside as well.
Large services at Memorial Avenue often have people standing outside watching the external screens. The relatives we film for are further away, in another state or overseas. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet, so the stream runs on our gear. When you send the link, say it is the Memorial Avenue crematorium, since Rookwood has other venues with similar names.
