Pitt Street Uniting's congregation goes back to 1833, and its heritage-listed church at 264 Pitt Street was designed by John Bibb. Funerals there can be filmed and sent to a private link, and we have done it before.
About Pitt Street Uniting Church
The building went up between 1841 and 1846 and was extended in 1867. The congregation began as Congregationalist in 1833 and is now part of the Uniting Church. The church is heritage-listed and sits among office towers in the middle of the CBD.
Pitt Street Uniting runs its Sunday services in person and on Zoom, then posts recordings on YouTube. For a funeral, the family books its own stream. We bring at least three cameras and our own mobile internet, and the family gets a private link and a recording.
