Funeral live streaming at St Mary's Catholic Church

A church and school stood on the Parramatta Road site at Concord from 1845, and St Mary's became a parish in 1870. We have filmed funerals there and stream them for relatives who cannot come to Concord.

About St Mary's Catholic Church

St Mary's at Concord has a long history on Parramatta Road. There was a church and a school on the site from 1845, a quarter of a century before the parish was formally set up in 1870. The church also has its own historic cemetery on the grounds.

Saturdays at St Mary's are kept for funerals and weddings. We arrive before the family, set up at least three cameras and run the stream on our own mobile internet, so we do not need anything from the parish. People who cannot get to Concord follow the Mass on a private link.

Questions families ask

Can a funeral at St Mary's, Concord be live streamed?

Yes. Your funeral director confirms with the parish priest at St Mary's that filming is fine before the day. Once that is sorted we take care of everything technical. The family receives a private link to share and a recording of the full service afterwards.

Is there parking at St Mary's, Concord?

St Mary's is on Parramatta Road, which is busy most of the day. Ask your funeral director about parking at the church and allow extra travel time. We get there well before the service starts, so we are set up before the first mourners arrive.
