Funeral live streaming at St Patrick's Church, Church Hill
Opened in 1844 on the corner of Grosvenor and Gloucester Streets, St Patrick's is generally counted as the oldest Catholic church still standing in Sydney. We stream funerals there for family who cannot get into the city on the day.
About St Patrick's Church, Church Hill
The Marist Fathers have run St Patrick's, Church Hill since 1868. The church stands on the edge of The Rocks, in the older northern corner of the CBD. It is a small parish, and funerals are still held in the original 1840s building.
St Patrick's has no car park of its own, and a trip into the city is a lot to ask of some older relatives. The stream gives them another way to be part of the Mass. We carry our gear in from street parking, so we allow extra set-up time and use our own mobile internet on the day.

Questions families ask
Can a funeral at St Patrick's, Church Hill be live streamed?
Yes, and we have done it before. Your funeral director checks with the Marist Fathers or the parish office beforehand to make sure filming is fine. After that we look after the set-up, the stream and the recording. The family only needs to send the private link to whoever wants to watch.
Where do mourners park for St Patrick's, Church Hill?
There is no car park at St Patrick's. Mourners use street parking around Grosvenor and Gloucester Streets or a paid car park nearby. It pays to allow extra time in city traffic. Anyone who cannot manage the trip can watch the Mass live on the private link, or later on the recording.
